Detailed designs for the project are complete and approved by Main Roads WA. The project focuses on shorter journey times and tangible safety benefits by providing two lanes in each direction, a raised dividing median, U-turn facilities for property accesses to the east and upgrades at intersecting roads. The design also incorporates a 3m red asphalt shared path on the eastern side of Lenore Road, extending the City of Wanneroo Long-Term Cycle Network.
